Leo Nickerson Elementary School is a triple-track school, offering a regular English program and a French Immersion program from Kindergarten to Grade Six, and a Logos Christian program from Kindergarten to Grade Five. Each program delivers the full, mandated Alberta Learning curriculum in a classroom setting unique to the philosophy of the individual program.
This triple-track setting allows each student the opportunity to learn in a chosen unique classroom setting, and also to develop respect, cultural appreciation, and a mutual understanding of the students in the other programs. This dynamic, multi-faceted school climate strongly supports students in the areas of academics, physical fitness, Fine Arts and positive moral values. The school welcomes students into colorful, cheerful and stimulating classrooms where dedicated and skilled teachers make learning come alive.
At Leo Nickerson Elementary, students receive a quality education, parents feel valued and involved, and the community is enriched with the presence of a school characterized by a strong social conscience.
